National Pretzel Day. It’s a thing, you guys, and it’s on April 26! I’m all about celebrating the little things, and I’m pretty excited for all the fun stuff I get to share with you today. (Including a fabulous giveaway that includes swag you’re totally going to want!)
I’m the type of very unhealthy person who can’t seem to manage to watch TV without snacking. (Thankfully, I don’t watch TV super often.) My go-to munchies are popcorn, chips + salsa, — and you guessed it, pretzels. (These pretzels are making me thirsty! Any Seinfeld fans in the house?)
Rold Gold just released their line of Pretzel Thins, and they were sweet enough to send me some to try. Yum. They’re the type of addicting snack that I start munching at the beginning of Parenthood and by the end I’m crying not because of the Bravermans (though, let’s be honest, Joel and Julia?!) but because I’ve eaten the entire bag and there’s nothing left but wayward salt pieces. The Pretzel Thins come three flavors: Original, Garlic Parmesan, and Three Cheese. They’re all tasty (Judging by the open cupboards and cheesy little fingers, Joseph can attest to that.) but my fave probably has to be Original because I’m classic (boring?) like that.
I sent some fun questions to Frito-Lay Executive Chef Jody Denton, who made Many Sparrows a special custom video with his tricks on how to easily jazz up pretzels for preschoolers + how busy moms can creatively break out of lunch ruts. You have to watch it. Isn’t it so cute?
Love it! His idea about combining the hazelnut spread with raspberries? Yes, please. So easy, but something I never would have thought of on my own.
So many of you lovely ladies out there are loaded down with jam-packed schedules, and if I could, I would send all of you world-changing women (and men!) these swag bags to remind you to take a break and treat yo self.
While I can’t do that, I do have one “Happy Break” bag to giveaway to one of you, thanks to Rold Gold in honor of pretzel day.
The giveaway includes:
- Six full-size bags of Pretzel Thins (Snacks for dayz!)
- $25 iTunes gift card (Awesome, right?!)
- Hand-crafted jasmine-scented soy candle (From Plain J Body & Home and smells amazing!)
- A “Happy break” inspirational poster/print (Would look so cute on a bulletin board!)
Eee! How fun is that? I’ll randomly select a winner via Rafflecopter below, and announce a winner May 1. (Happy May Day, right?) Enter, spread the word, and good luck!
